SiS LVM Home Renforsen in Vindeln accepts men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. The institution is tasked with providing care for clients with special resource needs.

Job Description:

We are now looking for substitute cooks to cover for regular kitchen staff during absences and holidays. There is also the possibility of summer employment. The work as a cook with us involves planning, preparing, and cooking nutritious meals as well as special diets for the institution's clients. You will prepare about 25 portions of lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday and prepare meals for the weekend. The kitchen work includes ordering supplies, planning menus, and performing pre- and post-kitchen tasks such as washing dishes, cleaning, and conducting self-control in accordance with applicable legislation. Most of the food is prepared from scratch. The work is done in collaboration with the kitchen assistant and staff in other functions at the institution.

Qualifications:

The following requirements apply for the position:

• Restaurant or large kitchen education at the high school level or other education combined with relevant experience that we assess as applicable.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• Good computer skills.
• Driver's license B.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in large kitchens.
• Experience working with self-controls.
• Experience working with special diets.

Employment:

The position is a substitute employment as needed, and the start date will be agreed upon. Work is conducted during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. There is an opportunity to work both longer periods and individual shifts during short-term absences. You will undergo a tailored introduction for your assignment.
